Yes, as an Englishman I think I can provide a few pointers on the structure of cricket. Its rules are as follows;
Conquer 1/3rds of the World and humiliate the inhabitants.
Teach them your cherished sport with the intention of exhibiting your cultivation prowess and superiority.
Spend the fading years of your power being trashed by barbarian hordes of antipodeans and South Africans.
Fade into political and sporting oblivion...
